Staff Accountant

Our client is a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Staff Accountant to join their finance team in Henderson. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with hands-on manufacturing experience and a solid grasp of month-end close processes.

Job Responsibilities - - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

- Support month-end close procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

- Maintain inventory-related accounting records within the company's ERP system.

- Perform routine account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.

- Partner with the broader accounting team on internal audits and process improvement initiatives.

- Monitor and analyze cost data tied to manufacturing operations.

- Uphold internal controls and adherence to established accounting policies.

- Prepare financial reports and summaries to support leadership decision-making.

Job Requirements - - Minimum of 2 years of accounting or finance experience, or an equivalent accounting-related degree.

- Cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.

- Experience working within an ERP system.

- Strong proficiency in Excel.

- High level of organization and attention to detail.

- Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and follow-through.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities under deadlines with minimal oversight.
