Position Information
The Division of Academic & Student Affairs (DASA) serves all students at NC State through academic affairs, student affairs, and University College.
The focus of the Instructor/Tutor is to provide instruction and one‑to‑one or group tutorial services to 21st Century Community Learning Center students.
Responsibilities- Assist participants in academic skill building for core curricula courses, especially rigorous curriculum courses.
- Conduct or secure facilitators for Special Labs, which may include instruction in ACT test prep, STEM exposure and instrument, workforce development skills, family enrichment activities, and more.
Work schedule:
Mon – Fri, 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM.
Minimum experience/education:
High School Diploma required with sufficient academic standing to provide tutorial services.
- Google Suite experience.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs (student supplies).
Preferred experience:
Experience instructing or tutoring students in a K‑12 setting.
