Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a combined OB-GYN unit, requiring a current NC or compact state RN license and at least 2 years of L&D experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a combined OB-GYN unit providing both obstetric and gynecological inpatient care
- Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 12-hour days
- 13-week contract assignment
- Unit cares for patients experiencing labor, delivery, and post-partum needs
- Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the assignment location
- Primary responsibilities include caring for laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries, and providing postpartum care
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Travelers must have a current, active Nursys verification at time of consideration
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state
- Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- COVID-19 vaccination card required
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
- RQI certifications are not accepted
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot be employed full time elsewhere during assignment
