Cross Med is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Henderson, North Carolina.

• Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
• Monitors patients’ responses to interventions and reports outcomes.
• Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
• Transports patients as needed.
• Assists with procedures and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
• Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
• Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.

• At minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school.
• Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
• Physical abilities – remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending and pulling.
• Interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive demeanor and professional appearance.
• Technical skills to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating departmental equipment.
• Cognitive demands to manage frequent interactions with the public and meet deadlines under pressure; comfortable with occasional close supervision or independently.
• Sensory skills for keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities.
