Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's Services

$20,000 Commitment Bonus (2 Years)

Schedule:

Three 12 Hour Shifts, Full-Time Nights (7:00 pm - 7:00 am)

Location:

Maria Parham Medical Center – Henderson, NC

Maria Parham is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. The RN will provide direct patient care in the Women’s Services Department, using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The RN reports to the Director or Manager of Women’s Services.

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• ACLS and PALS (preferred)
• Minimum of six months to one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital Labor and Delivery or Medical/Surgical setting (required)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification (required)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required)
