Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Surgical Department. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, adhering to applicable scope and standards of practice. The department reports to the Director or Manager of Medical Surgical Department.

- Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Document patient care and monitor patient condition, communicating with the care team, physician, patient and family.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition and ambulation.
- Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals and support needs.
- Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required).
- PALS, ACLS and Handle with Care certification (preferred).
- One year of RN experience.
