Registered Nurse (RN) - OR Circulator

Schedule: Full time | 4 days a week (10-hour shift) | 6:30 a.m.

- 5 p.m.

Maria Parham is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network.

Provides direct patient care within the operating room, acting as the patient’s advocate while maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Supports the surgical team by monitoring patient safety before, during, and after surgery, and completing documentation. May assist with scrub when needed. The registered nurse is responsible for weekend call approximately every 4‑5 weekends and for weekday coverage during calls.

Director of Surgical Services

Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.

Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens for all employees.

Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
• Associate’s degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• BCLS required
• ACLS and PALS required; must acquire within 90 days of hire
