Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Department
$20,000 Commitment Bonus (2 Years)
Schedule: Three 12-Hour Shifts, Full-Time Days (7:00 am – 7:00 pm)
Location: Maria Parham Medical Center – Henderson, NC
Provides direct patient care in the Medical Surgical Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
How You'll Contribute- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
- PALS, ACLS and Handle with Care Preferred
- One year of RN experience
