Job Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient Rehab – Weekend Nights (Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun, Mon). Full time, nights 7:00p.m.–7:00a.m., location at Maria Parham Hospital – Henderson, NC. Commitment bonus: $20,000 over two years.

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and other clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Evaluates learning needs of patients/families and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
• Assures quality of care by measuring health outcomes against goals and standards.
• Delivers compassionate, high‑quality care for a variety of patient needs.
• Utilizes clinical expertise to guide and implement individualized care plans.
• Serves as a patient‑care innovator using latest technology and best practices.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina (or North Carolina compact license).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required).
• One year of RN experience (preferred, but not required).
