American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department position requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.
Details- Work in a rural hospital's Emergency Department at a Joint Commission accredited facility
- 20-bed unit serving a varied patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
- High-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment
- Patient ratios of 1:4, with 1:5 during surge periods
- Uses Paragon EHR system
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Must work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period
- No on-call requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- AHA certifications required
- Peripheral IV, Stroke, SEPSIS, and STEMI experience preferred
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Facility is part of the Duke Lifepoint Hospital network
- Region's largest and most comprehensive ED, including a free-standing ED
- Home to the region's largest and most advanced ICU and PCU
- 205 licensed beds with an 'A' Leap Frog Hospital Safety Rating
- Scrub colors accepted: black, navy, and royal blue
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
