Pipefitter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Job Description

Fabricates and installs piping. Cuts threads, and hammers pipe to specifications. Measures and marks pipes for cutting and threading. Attaches pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures using brackets, clamps, and other methods. Reads blue prints to determine parts requirements of the job. Plans pipe system layout and installation. Tests piping to ensure against leaks. Performs structural welding in order to attach and secure piping systems to walls, floors, fixtures.

Performs other duties as required. Cleans work site when job completed at end of day.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Intermediate ability to read blueprints.
• Intermediate ability to use the various tools required for the trade.
• Basic writing and reading skills.
• Basic mathematics skills.

No Travel is required.
