About the Special Education Teacher Role:

Henderson, Tennessee

Schedule:

Monday–Friday

Hours:

35 hours per week (7:30 AM – 3:00 PM)

Compensation: $43–$45/hour

Benefits:
Medical, dental, and vision

Travel stipends available for non-local candidates willing to relocate for assignment

Certification:
Active Tennessee Teaching License with Special Education 461 endorsement required

Position Details:

• Full-time, contract position for the 2026/2027 school year

• Assignment dates:
August 3, 2026 – May 21, 2027

• Self-contained Special Education classroom serving grades 6–8
