Education:

Four-year degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in business, finance, accounting, or other related field (or equivalent experience through training or HR activities)
One or more years of experience at a financial institution

Knowledge:

Ability to evaluate overall bank training needs.

Proficient in computer software programs, and an ability to quickly learn new software.

Ability to effectively communicate.

Tasks Coordinate scheduling, invitations, and reminders for training workshops. Implement a training calendar to keep all training events centralized.

Prepare and distribute training materials, certificates, and evaluations.

Maintain accurate training registers, logs, and employee training records.

Administer bank training programs by personally conducting training sessions or by partnering with internal and/or external subject matter experts.

Manage the BAI training system to ensure accuracy of user profiles, update training requirements, and track course completion.

Support workshop facilitation for soft skills, orientation, and operational training sessions.

Track regulatory training attendance & work closely with bank Compliance Department to ensure regulatory requirements are met in a timely manner.

Arrange travel, accommodation, and registration for external training and when employees visit other branch locations.

Book training rooms, coordinate catering, and manage set-up/break-down of sessions.

Oversee inventory of training supplies and materials.

Maintain training records, invoices, and departmental files.

Act as the Human Resource Department’s first point of contact for staff and external stakeholders in regards to training matters.

Provide professional clerical support, including report preparation and correspondence.

Work in partnership with bank leadership to identify opportunities for policies and procedures to be implemented or updated.
