Compensation & Benefits

$75,000 – $85,000 (DOE) + Commission (target $10k+). Full suite of benefits includes 401(k) and health benefits.

Our client is a leading restoration and reconstruction firm serving much of the Carolinas. With a quarter century of experience, they specialize in high‑quality restoration services for water, fire, smoke, and mold damage.

Position Summary

Seeking a highly organized and experienced project manager to direct insurance‑based mitigation and restoration projects. Candidates should have experience managing projects from inception to completion, strong client‑facing skills, and creative problem‑solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client‑facing responsibilities including daily interaction and project updates
  • Prepare, review, and process documentation per company policies
  • Monitor, inspect, and manage restoration projects
  • Supervise technicians based on scope of work and cost estimates
  • Create estimates in Xactimate and maintain field quality control
  • Create and manage project budgets and schedules
  • Communicate effectively with customers, adjusters, and team members
  • Contribute to company growth and prosperity
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential or commercial construction, remodeling, restoration, or insurance‑based reconstruction
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of restoration practices and standards
  • Experience processing insurance claims and understanding of carrier expectations
  • Ability to manage project budgets and scheduling of subcontractors
  • Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to think creatively and adapt to job‑site challenges
  • Proficient with Xactimate and other restoration‑industry software
  • Valid driver’s license
