This position will be based at the Borg Warner Arden facility in Western North Carolina and will transition to a new facility in Hendersonville, NC.

The Purchasing Supervisor (Industrial Solutions) will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of raw materials, components, and production supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations on the shop floor. This role supervises purchasing staff, manages supplier relationships, and negotiates pricing and contracts with a focus on cost control, quality, and on‑time delivery. Collaboration with production planning, engineering, and inventory teams to align material availability to support production demands.

• Lead, coach, develop and supervise a team of buyers and purchasing staff
• Train, assign, and delegate responsibilities/projects
• Follow up on performance progress, audit work, and provide feedback to each team member
• Manage sourcing of materials and components to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Track and control bill of materials (BOM) costs, especially during product launches
• Ensure on-time delivery and supplier capacity to support production schedules
• Coordinate program reviews, monitor progress, and manage risks
