Maintenance Mechanic
Compensation: Up to $25.00/hr, plus shift premium ($0.50/hr for 2nd shift, $1.00/hr for 3rd shift). Paid weekly.
Shift/Working Hours:
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
About the role:
Pride Staff is partnering with a prominent manufacturing company in Hendersonville to find a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanic. This crucial role is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and servicing of the plant's production equipment and mechanical systems, ensuring continuous, safe, and high-quality operations.
What you will do:
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and complete work orders to maintain, service, and repair mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment (up to 480v) and building support systems.
  • Identify necessary replacement parts, place orders, and coordinate installation support and service operations.
  • Adhere strictly to all established safety procedures and maintain compliance with company, regulatory, and food safety (SQF) requirements.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to troubleshoot, test, and repair equipment for optimal usage and quality.
  • Maintain accurate records, including equipment manuals, completed work orders, inspection reports, and documentation of work hours.

  • A minimum of three years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing mechanic role.
  • Strong knowledge base in Mechanical, Pneumatics, and Electrical systems (120vac - 480vac).
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented, manage multiple tasks effectively, and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and clear verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
