Your Impact as an LPN/RN Unit Manager

As an LPN/RN Unit Manager, you will play a vital leadership role by overseeing daily clinical operations, mentoring nursing staff, and ensuring exceptional care for every resident.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supervising daily clinical operations for your assigned unit

  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

  • Ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care while maintaining compliance with individualized care plans

  • Performing clinical assessments and ensuring accurate, timely documentation

  • Monitoring changes in resident conditions and communicating with physicians, residents, and families

  • Leading interdisciplinary care plan meetings and collaborating with healthcare professionals

  • Coordinating admissions, discharges, and transitions of care

  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations

  • Supporting infection prevention initiatives, quality improvement programs, and survey readiness

  • Promoting a positive, collaborative culture that supports both residents and staff

Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted North Carolina LPN or RN License

  • Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred

  • Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a multidisciplinary team

  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional resident care
