Job Description:Sign on Bonus up to $5,000 for eligible applicants

Location:
One Health Park, Hendersonville, NCShift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Coordinates and provides quality patient-focused care in a physician’s clinic. Places patients in the examining room and ensures their comfort.
Performs patient intake entry, obtains vital signs, and documents patient information.
Assists physicians with examinations, treatments, and office surgeries.
Performs phlebotomy and laboratory tests as required, adhering to state and federal regulations.
Screens telephone calls, takes accurate clinical messages, and answers routine patient inquiries.
Performs triage duties according to practice protocols.
Ensures exam room equipment is clean and properly set up before each patient encounter.
Manages sterilization of non-disposable instruments and maintains appropriate logs.
Prepares and administers medications and immunizations as directed by the provider.
Handles medication and prescription questions, refill calls, and ensures accurate documentation.
Obtains insurance prior authorizations for medications and communicates changes to providers and patients.
Use of Computers, telephone, fax machine, copier, stethoscope, EKG machine, pulse oximeter, oxygen devices, wheelchairs, stretchers, scales, glucose monitor, and other patient care equipment necessary to perform required duties as appropriate to the scope of the practice. [Required]
Proficiency must be attained via on-the-job training, and orientation, [Preferred]
Associate [Preferred]
High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Associates Degree or equivalent specific to Licensed Practice Nurse preferred
1+ position related experience [Preferred]
N/A
Certifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) [Required]
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Physical Requirements -
Pay Range:$20.12 - $37.42
