Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Med Surg

Role Overview :

The Registered Nurse Pulmonary Med Surg provides high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient conditions, performing procedures, administering medications, and educating patients and families. Collaborating with healthcare providers, they ensure comprehensive and compassionate treatment aligned with nursing standards and practices.

• Assess patient status during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, monitor responses, and document care accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and respond to adverse reactions.
• Respond swiftly to patient needs, anticipate concerns, and resolve issues.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within 5 years; exemptions available for experienced RNs.
• Preferred:
  One year of hospital nursing experience.
