As an Operating Room RN, you will provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, demonstrating proficiency in aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and patient safety protocols. Required qualifications include an active RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, and at least one year of recent operating room experience in an acute care hospital.
Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is also necessary. Recommended skills include strong organizational abilities, effective communication, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team.
