Ecusta Market & Cafe is a neighborhood grocery and café located on the Ecusta Trail in Hendersonville, NC. We focus on high-quality, locally sourced goods and a casual but exceptional café experience. Our kitchen team plays a key role in creating simple, delicious food made with care — from breakfast and lunch to small plates for our wine bar evenings.

We are hiring line cooks and prep cooks to join our back-of‑house team. Ideal candidates are reliable, efficient, and motivated to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Previous kitchen experience is required. Nights and weekends are required. Gratitude, teamwork, and attention to detail are at the heart of everything we do.

• Prepare and plate menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen throughout service.
• Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries, and organizing inventory.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with the rest of the kitchen and FOH staff.

• Prior kitchen experience required (line cook, prep cook, or similar).
• Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Available for evenings and weekends.
