Warehouse Support/Material Handler

OpSource has partnered with a manufacturing company that produces filters for the molten metal industry located in Hendersonville, NC. We are currently seeking a warehouse support associate who will be responsible for the movement of raw materials to and from the warehouse in a manner that safeguards against damage or deterioration.

Pay for the position:

• $20.00/hr

Shifts for the position:

• 1st Shift 8am-5:00pm Mon-Fri

Job requirements for the position may include:

• Move materials from packing areas to shipping, stretch wrap pallets per SOP, move all non-conforming materials (except foam) to non-conforming cage areas, load and unload freight on trucks.
• Inspect fork lifts prior to operation
• Hook fork lifts to charger for overnight charging.
• Chronologically or alphabetically file paperwork per SOP.
• Basic computer skills - inputting data from in bound receipts into the Syspro software system

Qualifications for the position:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Must have phone for communicating directly with supervisor
• Forklift Experience
• Able to work in a hot, dusty environment
• Ability to input data using bar code scanner, ability to read English and write legibly in English.
