We are looking for a multi-talented accounting office superstar to fill our Accounting Services Director position. This is a crucial role for our company as it is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office as well as providing general accounting and payroll services for clients. The right candidate is someone who has experience working in an accounting capacity and knows what it takes to effectively run a professional office.

A self-starter with critical thinking and problem-solving skills and an affinity for multi-tasking would be perfect for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Manage workflow of incoming/outgoing client work in practice software
  • Process client payroll using ADP, QBO, and Quickbooks Desktop
  • General bookkeeping for clients using QBO and Quickbooks Desktop
  • New client intake processing and set-up into practice software
  • Maintain the office condition and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain and/or develop office operations and procedures
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
  • Client invoicing and follow up
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments as needed
  • Provide general support to visitors as needed
Skills
  • Experience as an office manager or high-level administrative assistant, preferably in an accounting office
  • Experience with accounting software such as QBO, Quickbooks, Proseries
  • High Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications especially Excel
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • Ability to work independently
