Engineering Technician

Overview

Role:
Engineering Technician (Autocad).

Location:

Austin, Texas 78744. Salary: $20 - $26/hr on W2. Duration: 6 months contract with possible extension.

• Draw lines and create 2D CAD drawings; some 3D experience is a plus.
• Hands-on AutoCAD experience (1-2 years preferred).
• Support GIS Mapping activities; training on internal data tool.

• Able to quickly adapt to data entry platforms used for operation support systems, including geo mapping applications and Excel reporting.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• One or more years of experience interpreting technical drawings/documents and performing technical analysis or drafting using CAD software OR a degree in CAD or relevant field may substitute per guidelines for certain years of experience.
