Pay Range: $129,655 - $155,586YOUR ROLE
The Senior Automation Implementation Engineer is responsible for the integration, deployment, commissioning, and optimization of automated fulfillment solutions in new Distribution Centers. The role requires hands‑on implementation, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and technical problem‑solving to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client specifications.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics and distribution, with at least 5 years working directly with automation systems such as AS/RS, GTP, AMRs, Cobots.
- Proven experience in deploying and commissioning automated fulfillment solutions.
- Desirable:
Experience in third‑party logistics, omnichannel fulfillment, or e‑commerce fulfillment solutions.
Specialist Knowledge & Skills
- In‑depth knowledge of automation systems, including hardware and software integration.
- Experience with WMS, WCS, WES, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
- Strong technical problem‑solving skills.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
