We are a driving force in the continuing advancement of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) systems including annular pressure modeling, specialized pullhead design, operation and installation stress modelling, as well as other trenchless methods such as Direct Pipe.

This position is responsible for undertaking field and office work related to geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, and field investigations. Duties include field supervision of geotechnical drilling/sampling, data analyses, performing soil lab testing (as required), and assisting with the preparation of geotechnical engineering documents.

• Supervise geotechnical drilling/sampling (Ground Disturbance Supervisor) using various techniques for ground‑supported equipment; conduct field investigations as required.
• Undertake site visits to assess drilling equipment access to planned borehole locations.
• Perform installation of geotechnical instrumentation and assist with data analysis and reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of geotechnical reports (data reports, trenchless feasibility, foundation, slope stability, anchor design, settlement assessments, etc.).
• Complete geological mapping and spatial analysis for projects in the US and Canada.
• Maintain effective working relationships with clients, contractors, staff, and other employees, including internal and external meetings.

• Geotechnical Consulting experience is an asset.
• Field experience with logging and geotechnical soil sampling is a strong asset.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Geological Engineering with emphasis on geotechnical engineering;
  Master’s in geotechnical is a strong asset.
• Registered or able to register as an E.I.T. or G.I.T. in Texas (TBPE) and elsewhere.
• Excellent communicator, team player, positive attitude.
• Detail oriented, meticulous, self‑starter with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and take additional responsibilities.
• Driver’s license with a clean record; able to travel to remote locations and spend extended periods in the field (project dependent).
• Ability to review project deliverables and initiate required work.
• Safety training, background check, and drug/alcohol testing required; on‑job training provided.
