Functions and Responsibilities

• Serve as a financial advisor to the CFO and executive team for strategic planning purposes.
• Maintain and improve upon our long-range planning framework, providing leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of financial short-and-long-term strategic objectives.
• Lead the development and implementation of the finance operating model that will deliver significant short and long-term improvements across finance’s processes, systems, and tools.
• Prepare Board of Directors materials and presentations to summarize financial outlook and offer insightful recommendations.
• Lead the process to accurately forecast results and ensure that all stakeholders have the appropriate tools to forecast results both internally and externally.
• Stir innovation and improvement of the financial planning and analysis processes and rigor to provide even higher value-added decision-making support to leadership.
• Drive the successful and timely completion of special projects (certain periods requiring a high time-commitment are predictable, while others may not be).
• Be vigilant on creating lean processes where we value financial automation as well as strong collaboration and communication.

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in FP&A leadership roles
• Strong Software as a Service (SaaS) experience, ideally in fast-paced, PE-backed, high-growth environments with competing priorities
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics with a highly analytical, problem-solving mindset and the ability to drive process improvements
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence strategic decisions
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership, Boards, and investors
• Proficiency with financial systems (Excel, BI, Net Suite, Snowflake)
• S. / B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Economics
• CPA / CFA / MBA preferred
