IT technical support specialist

Requirements Must have:

• Strong understanding of Windows desktop operating systems and software
• Some knowledge of Windows server operating systems and Linux
• Familiarity with Windows batch scripting and Power Shell
• Competence in databases and SQL
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
• Experience with basic hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Familiarity with patch management
• Basic awareness of IT security protocols
• Understanding of two-factor authentication
• Ability to engage in projects involving data analysis and reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication along with active listening capabilities
• Strong time management, scheduling, multitasking, and prioritization skills
• Dependable and adaptable
• Capacity to acquire new concepts through data and proficient in research and citation
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical and drug screening

• Provide technical support for end-users regarding IT issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems
• Assist in the management of network and server environments
• Participate in the development and documentation of IT procedures
• Conduct training sessions for employees on IT best practices
• Collaborate with team members on various technical projects
• Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and user inquiries
