Job Summary
Reports to the Vice President for Administration/Chief Operating Officer. Reviews ongoing campus projects to facilitate COO oversight; coordinates, plans, and manages special projects for the Office of Administration; assists with new initiatives across the Administrative units; collaborates with the Space Management Coordinator as it relates to camps, conferences, and university events; and partners to support activities in Administration, Athletics, Academics, and other departments.
Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities
- Strong organizational and decision‑making skills and problem‑solving experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a diverse range of people
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage communications and interactions across multiple university departments, faculty, staff, and community leaders
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Ability to be a positive, professional, and ethical ambassador among diverse constituents for the University
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in coordinating, planning, and managing events or projects.
- Three to five years of professional experience or related experience in higher education or an academic environment
