Welder-1st Shift (4:30 AM – 3:00 PM)

Starting Pay: $28.00 per hour (increases available with certifications)

Performs precision metal fabrication and welding in the assembly of food service equipment. Responsible for fitting, welding, assembling, and finishing metal components to meet quality, safety, and production standards.

• Perform TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), Resistance Spot, and Stick (SMAW) welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Produce high-quality TIG welds on light gauge stainless steel that meet both functional and visual standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions to assemble and weld components accurately.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment for cutting, bending, grinding, and finishing.
• Fit, align, tack, and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, and clamps.
• Assemble multiple models of food service equipment, including carts, racks, tables, refrigerators, activators, docking stations, using hand tools and drills.
• Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Follow all safety requirements, maintain housekeeping standards, and support production schedules.

• Strong TIG welding skills, particularly on light gauge stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and general assembly techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or trade school graduate (or equivalent).
• Completion of welding certification training required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of welding and metal fabrication experience.
