Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting as a travel registered nurse. Responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing treatments, and ensuring patient safety during shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Document patient observations, interventions, and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative and ongoing care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• CPR and BLS certifications required.
• Ability to work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts effectively.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments.
