Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting during scheduled shifts. Administer treatments, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical unit.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
