Howden Netherlands B.V. in Hengelo designs, manufactures and sells industrial Cooling Fans worldwide. It serves as the ‘Centre of Excellence’ for Cooling Fans, with production facilities in Europe, China and Mexico. In addition we function as the regional service centre for related Howden products.

Howden’s range of industrial Cooling Fans are used as part of wet, dry and hybrid cooling systems and lead the way in high efficiency and low noise operation.

• Create support base by identifying needs of the business and aligning these with needs of Finance & Control department and organizational goals.
• Know the business and interact with other departments.
• Create and maintain a professional working relation with peers of other departments.
• Improve and implement integrated processes together with the business and the finance organization to generate historic and forward looking financial information in an efficient, reliable, valid, complete and relevant way.
• Drive accurate forecasting, understand business drivers of Howden Thomassen Compressors and connect them to KPI’s (leading indicators).
• Align current and future finance/controlling processes with processes the business and other locations or departments.
• Generate ad‑hoc reports.
• Identify trends internally and externally and discuss these with other departments.
• Support best team in Finance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Control, Accounting or equivalent.
• Proven experience (2‑5 years) in a similar financial function.
• Reporting qualitative correct data while meeting deadlines and expectation management.
• Experience with project administration (e.g. POC, percentage of completion).
• Strong presentation and analysis skills.
• Natural curiosity and proactiveness.
• Highly skilled in the use of Excel.
• Fluent English language skills, both verbal and in writing (fluent in Dutch, both verbal and in writing is a bonus).
• Experience with Windows D365 Business Central and/or Power BI is an advantage.

We offer a salary package that is fully in line with the level of the position combined with an extensive package of fringe benefits.

• Monthly gross base salary between €3.000 and €7.100 for a 40‑hour work week (Actual offer will depend on experience, knowledge and working background.)
