. Salary: £36,066.96 + 5% salary increase in recognition of shift and weekend working.

Contract:

Permanent - Monday-Sunday.

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level
2) to join our facilities maintenance team at HMP Huntercombe, a Category C mens prison. The team works Monday-Sunday to maintain a safe and secure operation. You will work alongside plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrators to provide a safe and secure environment.

• Carry out mechanical and plumbing duties as a Level 2 skilled technician within the prison environment.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary facilities team to maintain safe, secure operations.
• Apply health and safety practices in all tasks.

• NVQ Level 2 certificate in a mechanical or plumbing discipline or equivalent
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills

We are a five-year-old Ministry Of Justice business providing critical and time-bound services to HMPPS. Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays.
