As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician, you'll play a key role in the repair process, ensuring damaged vehicles are dismantled, repaired, and reassembled to manufacturer standards while maintaining exceptional levels of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Remove and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components on damaged vehicles.
- Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer specifications and Bodyshop procedures.
- Diagnose faults relating to electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently without compromising quality.
- Work closely with Panel Beaters, Paint Technicians and Workshop Controllers to maintain workflow.
- Carry out final quality checks before vehicles are returned to customers.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Follow all health and safety and manufacturer compliance standards.
This role would suit an experienced MET Technician / Mechanical, Electrical & Trim Technician looking for their next career move.
You Will ideally have:- Previous experience as an MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician within an accident repair or Bodyshop environment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical and vehicle trim knowledge.
- The ability to remove and refit vehicle components to a high standard.
- Experience working to manufacturer repair methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team.
- A full UK driving licence.
