Position: Travel Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Hephzibah, Georgia

Schedule/Hours

• Night shifts: 7pm-7am

• Two (2) 24-hour on-call shifts within an 8-week period

Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with evidence-based practice, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation)

• Coordinate and document safe, quality care in partnership with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teammates

• Foster culturally sensitive care adapted to patient population needs

• Actively engage in shared governance, teamwork, and clinical improvement initiatives

• Serve as mentor and preceptor to peers and students, supporting workforce development

• Uphold legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards including Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics

• Efficiently allocate resources, adhere to procedural protocols, and maintain compliance with organizational policies

• Participate in ongoing self-education and required professional competencies

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred

• Unencumbered RN license (single state or compact)

• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required upon hire

• Completion of ACLS and PALS within 180 days

• TNCC or ATCN certification within 18 months

• Less than 1 year direct patient care experience considered

• Strong English communication, technological, and time-management skills
