Job Overview

Registered Nurse, Night Shift (36 hours per week, 3/12 schedule). Full‑time. Base pay $20,000 sign‑on bonus available. Work at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center.

• Patient Care and Coordination: monitor, examine, and evaluate patients; assist in care planning; deliver care plan; collaborate with staff; prioritize patient flow; maintain documentation.
• Patient Advocacy and Satisfaction: listen to concerns, serve as educational resource, communicate information, prioritize actions, maintain confidentiality.
• Performance Improvement: seek opportunities to improve processes; contribute ideas; support improvement initiatives.
• Professional Competency and Growth: maintain licenses and certifications; complete required training; engage in professional organizations; stay current with research.
• Professional Leadership: mentor and precept other nurses; foster a positive work environment; uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards; participate in shared governance.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Associate's in Nursing, Diploma (Nurse), or Bachelor of Nursing (preferred).

• BLS‑I (Basic Life Support Instructor) or BLS Basic Life Support or ARC‑BLS (American Red Cross Basic Life Support).
• RN‑Compact (Multi‑state Compact) or RN‑Reg Nurse (Single State).
