Bio Rad is currently looking for a Project Document Specialist. This role will provide document control support to product life-cycle documentation to ensure development documents, drawings and data are complete, properly categorized and approved in compliance with data integrity principles. You will work closely with the project team to receive, assess and process documents through the Veeva Quality Docs workflow.
How You’ll Make An Impact- Improve project time management by processing documents through the Veeva Quality Docs workflow by receiving and assessing submissions before assigning stakeholders to review and approve.
- Improve document accuracy and completeness by reviewing documents for formatting, spelling, content requirements and metadata and working closely with project stakeholders to correct issues and identify reviewers and approvers. There is an opportunity to train new users to the document workflow process.
- Reduce compliance gaps by maintaining an up-to-date and organized Design History File.
- Keep deliverables on track by following up with document task owners and reporting on document lifecycle metrics.
- Take on additional tasks aligned to project needs and candidate’s developing knowledge base.
- Associates degree or higher in a technical discipline.
- This role requires 1-2 years of verifiable and direct experience in a document control type function.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with enterprise Document Management Systems (eDMS). This role will be heavy in using Veeva Quality Docs and SharePoint.
- Exceptional focus to spot errors, proofread and ensure the principles of data integrity are met. Ability to promptly communicate issues or questions as they present themselves.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and able to self-prioritize multiple requests with changing timelines. You will need to be comfortable asking for clarification or updates to documents.
- This is a temporary position only and will not become temp-to-hire. The duration will last for 6 months with the possibility to extend for an additional 6 months. This position will not extend past 1 year.
The estimated hourly range for this position is $35 to $43 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. As a temporary associate, your employment will be managed directly through our approved agency provider.
