Analytical Chemist

Job Description:

* Perform routine analytical testing using established methods (e.g., HPLC, GC, LC/MS, ICP-MS, ELISA)

* Prepare samples, reagents, and standards in accordance with SOPs Execute experiments and assays following pre-validated methods and protocols

* Accurately record, document, and report data in lab notebooks or LIMS

* Assist with data analysis and result summaries under supervision

* Support maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation

* Maintain clean, organized, and compliant lab environment (safety + quality standards)

* Assist in SOP updates and documentation as needed

* Collaborate with team members to support project timelines and deliverables

Requirements:

* B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field 1-2 years of lab experience (industry preferred; strong academic experience considered)

* Hands-on familiarity with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, UV, etc.)

* Basic understanding of GMP/GLP environments preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures (SOPs)

* Ability to manage multiple samples and tasks in a fast-paced lab setting

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hercules, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
