SQL Developer, Data Engineering
Working with MSAT team members to understand their data needs, exploring SAP manufacturing and QC tables, and building or refining reusable queries and scripts to extract relevant datasets. The intern will document these workflows as clear work aids, test them with real MSAT use cases, and iterate based on feedback to ensure the tools are practical, reliable, and easy for non‑data experts to use.
HowYou’ll Make An Impact
- Learn and map SAP manufacturing and QC data structures to MSAT use cases, turning business questions into reliable data sources.
- Develop standardized, reusable queries, scripts, and templates for common MSAT data extraction and analysis needs.
- Create clear work aids and documentation so MSAT can independently retrieve and analyze data consistently.
- Partner with MSAT team members to validate data accuracy and ensure outputs support troubleshooting and CI efforts.
- Reduce manual, ad‑hoc data mining and reliance on tribal knowledge by implementing scalable, repeatable data workflows.
- Education:
Enrollment in or recent graduation from a program in data analytics, engineering, computer science, or a related field. - Experience:
Basic experience with SQL and/or Python for data extraction and analysis through coursework or projects is preferred. - Ability to work as part of a team, take instruction and learn.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Rising juniors, seniors, and master's students.
- Willing to commit 40 hours per week for 9 weeks from June 15 to August 14, 2026.
This position must be based in Hercules, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

CompensationThe hourly range for this position is $25. Actual compensation will be provided at the time of offer.
