We are seeking our nextPart-Time Kids College Teacher - Herefordwho will be all-in on our mission and who will be creative, work well with children, and have a diverse skill set to share with others. Kids College classes included but are not limited to: sports, education, fitness, culinary, arts, computer, coding and painting.
EDUCATION
:
Required:High School Diploma or GED


EXPERIENCE
:
Preferred:Successful Teaching Experience & First Aid and CPR Certification.

• Report directly to the Kids’ College Coordinator.
• Establish clear rules and expectation of the program with students.
• Maintain order and structure during class.
• Be actively engaged and involved with students each day.
• Prepare lesson plans prior to class time.
• Be flexible with lesson plans and activity changes.
• Ensure space is safe, clean and organized.
• Participate in and complete performance assessments/evaluations as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Salary:Amarillo College follows a lag pay strategy, with starting offers typically between the minimum and midpoint of the pay grade, rarely reaching the maximum to support long-term growth within each position.

Pay grade8Amarillo College Pay Grades(salary is determined by Human Resources based on education, work experience and internal comparisons).

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to travel between offices and buildings, and requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull and/or maneuver office supplies as needed.

Working Conditions: Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays, and varying events if necessary.)

Work Environment: This position works in a childcare environment, requiring regular sanitation. Daily exposure to household cleaning supplies, frequently distracting noise levels and frequent interruptions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
