Our client, an established independent used car dealership in the Hereford region, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department. Duties
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on customers' vehicles according to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently, reporting findings to the Service Manager
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Ensure vehicles are repaired to a high standard within agreed time frames
  • Work collaboratively within a friendly and professional team environment
  • Support the dealership’s commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service
Requirements
  • Ideally qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; however, strong "time served" experience will also be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
  • A valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Demonstrable experience in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
  • A dedicated, motivated team player with a high standard of work
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy dealership environment
