Job Description About the Role We’re seeking a reliable, detail-driven Logistics & Installations Coordinator to support Hemma Living’s growing design and material-supply operations. This role blends organization, technical skill, and hands-on problem solving—ideal for someone who takes pride in efficiency, craftsmanship, and keeping projects running smoothly behind the scenes.

You’ll help manage product deliveries, installations, and on-site logistics, ensuring materials are received, inspected, and delivered accurately. In some cases, you may work with our subcontracted delivery partners; over time, you’ll play a key part in transitioning portions of that work in-house as Hemma Living grows.

A reliable truck is required for this position. You’ll occasionally haul our trailer or transport materials to and from job sites. Compensation for vehicle use will be discussed and included in your hourly rate as appropriate.

This position also includes installation work—such as custom window treatments and Lutron shade programming—along with maintaining the studio’s organization, assisting with displays, and supporting clean, professional project presentations. As Hemma Living expands, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the design and operation of our future warehouse, including systems, layout, and workflow.

What You’ll Be Doing This is a versatile role focused on logistics, installations, and day-to-day support. You’ll...Lead Installations & Technical Support
• Install custom window treatments, including motorized Lutron shades
• Program electronic shade controls and provide client walkthroughs
• Coordinate scheduling with clients, designers, and contractors
• Represent Hemma Living with professionalism and confidence on job sites

Support Logistics & Organization
• Receive, inspect, and organize product deliveries by project
• Track shipments and manage product returns as needed
• Keep shipping, storage, and work spaces clean and highly organized
• Handle load-in/load-out for job sites and studio deliveries
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working order
• Assist designers with on-site measures and field verifications (higher hourly rate may apply for these visits)
• Visit active job sites to check progress, help with cleanup, and gauge contractor and homeowner satisfaction—reporting any concerns directly tothe owner

Help Shape—and Build—Our Future Warehouse
• While Hemma Living does not yet have a full-scale warehouse, we’re planning for one—and this role is part of that vision
• You’ll have a direct voice in how the space is laid out, organized, and operated
• You may also play a hands-on role in helping physically build out portions ofthe new studio, offices, or warehouse space—so comfort with tools and construction tasks is a plus Contribute to Studio Maintenance & Presentation
• Arrive early during winter months to ensure parking areas and walkways are cleared of snow before opening
• Serve as the go-to “handy person” for minor building maintenance,installations, or repairs
• Assemble showroom displays and support material presentation readiness
• Support setup, teardown, and modification of trade show booths or displays
• Maintain studio cleanliness and curb appeal (mowing, snow removal, etc.)
• Prepare spaces ahead of client visits and help keep operations running smoothly
