Overview
Position Summary. What you ll do:
Leads and develops teams, provides feedback, communicates with associates at all levels, and implements business solutions and changes. Models exceptional customer service standards and drives store performance, including financial results, merchandising, and operational processes. Develops associates, ensures compliance with policy and ethics, and fosters a culture of belonging and continuous learning.
- Lead and develop teams through teaching, training, listening, touring stores, and providing feedback.
- Communicate and collaborate with associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; lead change efforts with clear expectations and guidance.
- Model and demonstrate customer service standards following the OBW service model; support customer service initiatives and community outreach; resolve customer needs and issues with action plans for continuous improvement.
- Drive financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses in the designated area; ensure sales and profit goals through effective merchandising, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and process improvements; mitigate shrink.
- Provide supervision and development for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognition, and fostering belonging; recruit and develop qualified staff.
- Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by engaging key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and measuring progress toward results; promote adaptability and continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethics; support the Open Door Policy and apply these to business processes and practices.

- Act with integrity, model Walmart values, and strive to support Walmart s goals of sustainability and community impact.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses; state pay differential and regional pay zone where applicable. Eligibility and Qualifications- Minimum Qualifications
: 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, CBC and firearms training may be required. For facilities selling only ammunition, a state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must complete required trainings and assessments. - Preferred Qualifications
:
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U) and Bellevue University; experience supervising 5+ direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
