Restaurant Manager – Luxury Hotel | Hermanus
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager for a luxury hotel based in Hermanus. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to lead a dedicated team and deliver an exceptional dining experience in a refined setting.
Salary: R18,000 – R19,000 per month (Negotiable, DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service
• Lead, train and motivate the front-of-house team to maintain high service standards
• Ensure an outstanding guest experience at all times
• Manage staff schedules, performance and development
• Maintain stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
• Monitor cost control measures and assist with budgeting
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues professionally and promptly
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager within a luxury hotel or high-end establishment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations
• Financial acumen with experience in stock control and cost management
• Well-presented, professional and guest-focused
