The Hermiston School District is seeking a full‑time TOSA‑Dean of Students for Armand Larive Middle School. The successful candidate will be properly licensed or have the ability to obtain licensure prior to the start of the school year and will serve as the Dean of Students for the 2026‑2027 school year.

• Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience with increasing levels of responsibility in a school setting, elementary preferred
• Valid licensure through the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC)
• Working knowledge of discipline procedures, education code, and district policies
• Excellent command of oral and written English
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on‑the‑job travel
• Ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures or backgrounds
• Maintain integrity of confidential information related to students, staff, and district patrons

• Interest in pursuing school administration and ideally has started coursework

Annual salary ranges from $50,849 to $101,497. The position includes the normal 193‑day teacher work year contract plus 10 additional paid days. Health benefits, PERS retirement, tuition reimbursement, and other standard district benefits are provided.
