The Hermiston School District is seeking a full‑time English Language Learners (ELL) teacher for Hermiston High School. The successful candidate will be properly licensed or have the ability to obtain licensure prior to the start of the school year, and possess the ability to teach English learners at the high school level. The position begins August 2026. The teacher will plan and implement instruction for English language learners in accordance with district and state standards, collaborate with classroom teachers, and utilize data to inform practice.

• Experience teaching English language learners at the high school level

2026‑2027 Salary Range: $50,849 – $101,497 per year.

The district offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including PERS retirement, employer‑paid pick‑up, tuition reimbursement, and a comprehensive health and benefits package. A full‑year contract consists of 193 days, including three paid holidays.
