Job DescriptionHermiston School District is seeking a full-time Physical Education teacher for grades 6-8. The successful candidate will be properly licensed or have the ability to obtain licensure prior to the start of the school year, and possess the ability to teach middle school Physical Education. Position begins August 2026.
About our Middle SchoolsArmand Larive Middle School is one of two middle schools in the Hermiston School District serving a population of ~800 students. Each middle school campus has the support of a Principal, Assistant Principal, School Counselor, and a range of classified staff. Our goal is to support teachers in providing a premier education. With a focus on school-wide literacy and comprehensive after‑school opportunities such as drama, robotics, chess, color guard, marching band, and co‑curricular activities, middle school students in Hermiston stay engaged.

Schedule:
$50,849 - $101,497.
The Hermiston School District offers an extremely competitive salary and benefits package, including PERS retirement, employer‑paid pickup, tuition reimbursement, and a comprehensive health and benefits plan. A full‑year contract consists of 193 days, which includes 3 paid holidays.
