We are seeking an experienced and passionate OR RN Circulator Educator to lead, inspire, and elevate clinical practice across our organization. In this role, you will go beyond bedside care. Education& Training Leadership
- Design and deliver engaging education programs for clinical staff, with a focus on perioperative nursing.
- Teach both technical and theoretical concepts using effective adult learning principles.
- Serve as a trusted resource for staff development, onboarding, and ongoing competency.
- Utilize simulation training tools, including mannequins and software, to enhance clinical readiness.
- Create realistic learning environments that improve critical thinking and patient safety.
- Partner with department managers and clinical nurse coordinators to identify learning needs.
- Support the development and implementation of education strategies across departments.
- Collaborate with Quality Management to align education with performance improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and adapt programs based on measurable outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for clinical improvement and support system-wide initiatives.
- Assist with Quality Department projects as needed.
- Maintain a high standard of communication, organization, and professionalism.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and compassion.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards in all activities.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required (Experience and national certifications may be considered with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years).
- Master of Science in Nursing strongly preferred.
- Active Oregon RN license.
- BLS (HCP), ACLS, PALS required.
- CNOR required.
- Minimum 5 years of hospital nursing experience.
- At least 3 years of Operating Room experience.
- Experience in education, training, or staff development preferred.
- Experience with simulation-based learning strongly valued.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to develop curriculum, learning objectives, and evaluation methods.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment.
