Special Education Teacher (Social Communications) – K‑5

Hermiston School District is seeking a full‑time Special Education Teacher (Social Communications) for grades K‑5. The successful candidate will be properly licensed or have the ability to obtain licensure prior to the start of the school year and possess the ability to teach elementary school level Special Education in a Social Communications classroom. Position begins August 2026.

• Properly licensed as a Special Education teacher or ability to obtain licensure before the school year begins.
• Ability to teach elementary school level Special Education in a Social Communications classroom.
• Collaboration with other staff, attendance at IEP meetings, and provision of input on student plans.
